My cat, Butters, loves to read the morning paper with me as I have a cup of coffee to start my day. But look what she did right after I snapped this picture of her …. Oops!! Was it something she read? Or was the coffee too strong? Oh well, don’t cry over spilled Keurig K-cup coffee!

We use the word ‘bizarre’ quite a bit on the news. Today we had several stories that are truly bizarre. A slow speed chase in Texas had drivers doing a double take. I’m getting a late start on my taxes. And I’m being punished for that. By my cat. Every year I lay all my receipts, tax papers and documents into neat piles on top of the kitchen table. They were neat, that is, until my cat wanted to play. So what do I tell my CPA if I don’t have everything? “The cat ate my taxes?”
