July in Oklahoma was (almost) Hotter Than Hell!
Climatologists say the average temperature in Oklahoma during July was slightly warmer than 89 degrees. That’s putting the highs and lows together. The previous high for the nation… and Oklahoma.. was set in July 1954 at 88 degrees.
That’s definitely hot. No doubt about it. But nowhere near the all-time record set you-know-where, in a place you NEVER want to go.
