July in Oklahoma was (almost) Hotter Than Hell!

It’s been a hot summer. Just how hot? Take a look at those church signs. Satan and hell are getting some extra publicity.

July in Oklahoma was the hottest month ever… for any state. That’s how hot it’s been. Tulsa has had 36 days over 100 degrees this summer, including a handful over 110!

Climatologists say the average temperature in Oklahoma during July was slightly warmer than 89 degrees. That’s putting the highs and lows together. The previous high for the nation… and Oklahoma.. was set in July 1954 at 88 degrees.

That’s definitely hot. No doubt about it. But nowhere near the all-time record set you-know-where, in a place you NEVER want to go.

Put that message on one of those church signs.
