We hit 71 today in Tulsa. 71! It’s been an unseasonably warm winter in Oklahoma. So far. I know winter isn’t over yet, but we made it through December AND January without a major snow or ice storm. And much of the rest of the country has too.
So it’s hard to believe what we were facing this time last year. It’s been a year since our record-setting blizzard brought much of the state to a standstill for a couple of weeks. 14 inches of snow in a 24-hour period in Tulsa, and temperatures plunging around Tulsa to 30 below. That’s a 100 degree swing from today’s temperature!!
Here are a few pictures to remind us of a year ago. Don’t let the sunshine fool you. It was COLD! And they don’t show the blizzard we suffered through.

Crazy warm in Georgia too! Great shots.
