Rather extreme, but Loving if you look at it. Actions causes re-action. With everything that is happening in families today, this is the mildest form of judgment. there are many differrent scenario that could happen from violence to ignoring the situation altogether. I notice he is in the neighborhood that he lives in sos his peers will see, the dad is probably thinking that this will cause his child to think about his actions before he reacts to it.
