We often turn to Consumer Reports for reviews and ratings on products like cars, computers, TVs and mowers. CR usually doesn’t steer us wrong. It just came out with its first-ever ratings of fast food restaurants.
CR readers made more than 98,000 visits to 53 chains. At the top of the list? My wife’s favorite(mine too)… In-N-Out Burger. It was ranked not only the best burger chain, but best fast-food chain of them all.
Among the big chains with the lowest scores are Burger King, KFC, McDonald’s and Taco Bell. CR says the main reason for the low scores: the uninspiring food and so-so service.
In-N-Out just expanded to Texas, but most of their restaurants are out West. We’re heading out to California soon. I’m sure In-N-Out will be one of our first stops (and not our last either).
