It’s reported that President Obama will NOT release the photos of Osama bin Laden’s corpse. That seems to be a turnaround from what we were hearing yesterday, and goes against what most Americans appear to want.
The president has told CBS News in an interview to air Sunday on “60 Minutes”, that after seeing the photos himself, he’s “absolutely certain” that OBL is dead. But he said that releasing the photos could pose a national security risk.
A CNN poll released Tuesday showed that 56% said the government should release a photo of OBL’s body, while 39% said no. My poll was similar. 62% of you told me we should see the photos, while 38% believe we shouldn’t.
Feel free to vote in my poll, and comment on whether or not we should see OBL’s body.
There’s no point to releasing film or photos because these mediums often tell lies.
